Positive # Subtraction with Negative Answers

I have found that if you have a negative number subtraction answer from 2 positive numbers, you can switch them, and then put a negative symbol in front of the answer. For example: 15-27= -12, but if you switch it to make 27-15= 12, you can then put a minus sign in front to make -12.

Backwards Subtraction

If you get an subtraction problem you can't figure out easily because the answer is an negative number, you can solve it by doing stuff backwards. For example if you have 13 - 28, you can switch them to make 28 - 13, which = 15, so then you make the number a negative, and you did it! Also, if you have -23 - 24, you can turn it into 23 + 24 which = 47. So the answer is -47. If you have -43 - (-34), you can do 43 - 34, which makes 9, and then turn it into -9, and you got your answer! Try it at home! It'll always work!

Solution: Take the number and then put it the power of the same number.(This is exponents.) For example 5 to the 5th power is 5x5x5x5x5, 5 5 times, which makes 3,125.

Solution: ! is a factorial. A factorial means you should take that number and multiply by the numbers before it:
1!=1. 2!=2x1=2. 3!=3x2x1=6. 4!=4x3x2x1=24. 5!=5x4x3x2x1=120, and so on.
Zero is different though. Instead 0!=1 for some strange reason.(The same as 1!)

I got this problem from the puzzle "How can you use 5 0's to get 120 using any math equation?" The answer was this: (0! + 0! + 0! + 0! + 0!)! which made (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1)! and then 5! which made 120.

+1 formula

1. Dream up 2 numbers, one two less than the other, say 2 and 4.
2. 2 x 4 = 8.
3.  In the middle of the two numbers is 3.Throw in another 3. 3 x 3 = 9 
4. 8 + 1 = 9

Try 8 and 10. 8 x 10 = 80. 9 x 9 = 81. 80 + 1 = 81

7 formula

 I have discovered a formula that, strangely, always equals 7. I hope you find this interesting‼

It works with any positive number but is easiest to calculate with an even number.

For Step 5, do the part in parenthesis first.

1. Pick an number.
2. Add one half to your number.
3. Multiply your original number by 10.
4. Add that number with your half from Step 2.
5. That number divided by your (original number plus a half) is 7.

Try it with the number 4:

1. Pick an number (4).
2. Add one half (2) to your number (makes 6).
3. Multiply your original number by 10 (40).
4. The 40  plus 2 equals 42.
5. 42 divided by 6 is 7.


Try 20. 20+10=30. 200+10=210. 210/30=7.
